Questions and answers
The things people ask before a first call, answered properly instead of being deflected into a sales conversation. If what you want to know isn't here, WhatsApp it to us. We'll answer it and add it to this page.

Running it
The technology
Where does my customer data actually live?
In the systems you already use. The automation moves information between your CRM, your inbox
and your calendar. It doesn't build a second copy of your customer database somewhere else. If you'd sooner
nothing at all ran on our infrastructure, we deploy the whole thing to a server you control and it costs the
same.
Whose accounts are the connections made with?
Yours. Every integration is authorised through your own accounts, so access to your systems is
never sitting behind a login only we hold. You can see and revoke any connection yourself at any time.
What about POPIA?
POPIA governs how you collect, store and use personal information. Automation makes compliance
easier in some places and riskier in others, so we build with it in mind. Consent gets recorded when a lead is
captured. Opt outs are honoured automatically across every channel. We don't connect a service you haven't
approved. We're not lawyers and none of this is legal advice. If your business handles health records or
financial data, get your compliance position checked by somebody qualified.
Will you use my data to train anything?
No. Your content answers your customers and does nothing else. Where a build uses a third party
language model we configure it so your data isn't retained for training. The scope names which provider is
involved.
What if I don't know what to automate?
Most people don't. That's what the call is for. We walk through a normal week and find where
the hours genuinely go, which is often nowhere near where owners expect. You leave with a recommendation
whether or not you work with us.
How do I know automation is worth it for my business?
The rough test is volume times repetition. A task that takes ten minutes and happens four times
a day is worth automating. The same task twice a month isn't. There's a
calculator on the pricing page → that
gives you an estimate in about thirty seconds.
Will you tell me if it's not worth doing?
Yes. It happens fairly often. We'd sooner lose the sale than build something that quietly fails
the ninety day guarantee and costs us the refund plus our reputation.
How long does it really take?
Usually about two weeks from a signed scope for a single build. Bigger projects get staged so
the first useful piece goes live early rather than everything arriving at the end. What delays projects is
almost always waiting for access to an account, so we ask for that upfront.
Do you work with businesses outside Johannesburg?
Yes. Everything runs by call and WhatsApp, so we work with businesses across South Africa.
What happens when something breaks?
It will break occasionally. Anybody promising otherwise hasn't run automation in production.
Interfaces change without notice. Your monthly covers exactly this. The system is monitored around the clock,
so in most cases we've spotted it and fixed it before you notice. The repair is included with no per
incident invoice.
What if my prices or services change?
Send us a WhatsApp and it's updated, usually the same day, at no extra charge. On Growth and
above there's a review call each month where we go through everything that's changed.
How much of my time does this take once it's live?
Almost none, which is rather the point. You don't administer it, monitor it or maintain it. If
you want something changed you message us. The reason you're paying a monthly is so this stops being a job
that lands on somebody's desk.
Will my team need training?
Not really. The automation runs behind the scenes and your team carries on using the same
tools they already use. We walk you through what it's doing and how to step into a conversation when you want
to. That takes about twenty minutes.
What happens if I stop paying the monthly?
Notice is one calendar month, so nothing switches off unexpectedly. The workflows we built for
you are yours to keep. We'll export them and help you move the hosting.
Is the chatbot actually AI or is it a decision tree?
A built assistant uses a language model with your business content as its knowledge, so it
copes with phrasing it has never seen before. The demo on this site is deliberately simpler. It matches
keywords so the page loads instantly and costs nothing to run.
Do I need to change the software I already use?
Almost never. The whole point is connecting what you have instead of replacing it. If a tool
genuinely can't be connected because it has no interface at all, you'll hear that during scoping and not in
week two.
Does load shedding break it?
No. The automation runs on hosted infrastructure, not a machine in your office, so it keeps
going when your power doesn't. Messages arriving while your team sits in the dark still get answered, captured
and queued.
How do I know it's actually working?
You get a summary of what it handled, so you can see the volume it's absorbing rather than
taking our word for it. On Growth and above there's a monthly call where we go through the numbers together
and decide what to improve next.
Free. Twenty minutes. No slide deck.
Tell us what's eating your week
We'll pick one process apart with you and give you a straight number. If automating it won't pay for itself we'll say so. You'll still walk away knowing where your hours go.
